Banana Chocolate bread

  1. Whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1tsp baking soda, 1tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt/sea salt. In another large bowl, mash 3 fully ripe bananas and to it add 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter,1/4 cup of vegetable oil and 2/3 cup of brown sugar and blend until smooth.(you may also add 1tsp of vanilla extract) 2. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients but do not over mix. Add 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chunks or chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased baking tray and sprinkle some chocolate chunks on top of the bread. Bake for 45-50 mins.

Tea-biscuits

1. Take one cup all purpose flour, one cup whole wheat flour, one cup of castor sugar, 3tbs of gram flour(besan) and one tsp of baking powder in a bowl and add one cup of ghee to it and knead a smooth dough. 2. Make small biscuits out of the dough and make two cuts on each one and fill them with finely chopped nuts. 3. Bake them at 180 degree celsius for 25-30 mins.

Crispy fried chicken

1. Marinate 6-7 chicken pieces in a mix of 1tsp sweet chilli sauce, 1tsp soya sauce, 1tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper and 1 tbs ginger garlic paste( you may also add 1 tsp of garlic powder to it) and leave it for 3-4 hours. 2. Prepare a dry mixture of one cup all purpose flour and half cup cornflour with 1tsp pepper and salt to taste. Prepare a wet mixture of one egg, half cup buttermilk, 1 tbs paprika powder and 1 tbs oregano and whisk it properly. 3. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture and then dip them in the egg batter; repeat this process once more and then deep fry them on medium to high flame for 10-12 mins.
